Owen Freeman expands his game at Iowa
When Owen Freeman was at the high school level, he rarely took a shot outside the paint. The reason was he probably didn’t need to because he could physically dominate most of his opponents. Now that he has arrived in Iowa City for his first year with the Hawkeyes, Freeman is expanding his game with the full approval of his head coach.
Freeman says he is shooting (and making) three pointers in practice and will be shooting them in games this season. He talks about his shooting and the help he has gotten from a former Iowa coach. He also talks about gear day for the Iowa players and what that was like when it arrived.
