Owen Freeman grows to understand Iowa/ISU rivalry
Owen Freeman is from Illinois. He didn’t grow up in or around the rivalry between Iowa and Iowa State. But, he learned quickly how important it is and what it means to each fanbase. Freeman shared a story about how the night before the game in Ames last year that an ISU fan declined to get into an elevator with him because he was a Hawkeye player.
He talks about the rivalry between the two schools, what he experienced last year in Ames, and how he needs to stay out of foul trouble to stay on the floor and get his foul shooting to improve.
