Phil Parker honored by Broyles Award

There was a moment where Phil Parker didn’t want to travel to Little Rock for the Broyles Award ceremony. He was convinced to make the trip and now he’s happy that he did because the Iowa defensive coordinator won the award that is given to the top assistant coach in the country.

He talks about his trip and what it meant to be honored in that way. Parker also talks about the advice he has been giving his players on defense that are weighing their options to return or chase their dreams in the NFL.
