It was a hard-fought battle on the court, but as the final buzzer sounded, the Hawkeyes could rejoice and celebrate their championship. Caitlin Clark ran down the floor, discarded the basketball into the air and confetti began to fall from the ceiling.
Iowa joins Purdue (1998-200), Ohio State (2009-11) and Maryland (2015-17) as the only teams to win three straight Ben Ten Tournament Championships. Lisa Bluder has four tournament titles with the Hawkeyes, including one in her first season back in 2001. Over the last six years, Iowa is 15-2 in the Big Ten Tournament, including five appearances in the title game.
