After playing their unofficial opener at Kinnick Stadium last Sunday against DePaul, the third-ranked Iowa Women’s Basketball team returned to the court at Carver for an exhibition against NAIA Clarke University. The Hawkeyes took care of business with a 122-49 victory over the Pride.

After playing to a 10-10 tie through the first four minutes, Iowa turned on the jets and pulled away from Clarke, with a 20-2 run to end the first quarter. They led 62-18 at halftime and 93-33 after three quarters. Hannah Stuelke finished with a double-double, 27 points and ten rebounds on 11/15 shooting from the floor, while Caitlin Clark had 24 points, four rebounds and nine assists. Sharon Goodman and Addi O’Grady combined for 26 points and 11 rebounds on 13/23 shooting. Kate Martin added 10 points, six rebounds and three assists, while Molly Davis had nine points, four rebounds and four assists.
