You have to go all the way back to 2007 to find the last Wisconsin women’s basketball win over Iowa. On Tuesday night, the Hawkeyes extended their winning streak to 29 games against the Badgers with a 96-50 win. The 46-point win is the largest margin of victory during Iowa’s 29-game win streak and the second largest in series history. The Hawkeyes have now won 15 games in a row and are 18-1 overall.
Caitlin Clark finished with 32 points, seven rebounds and five assists. In the second quarter she surpassed former Baylor enter Brittney Griner for fourth on the NCAA all-time scoring list. Clark now sits 87 points behind former Missouri State guard Jackie Stiles for third all-time. Kate Martin scored in double figures for the 13th time this season, finishing with 16 points, four three-pointers, five rebounds and four assists. Sydney Affolter added 12 poitns, six rebounds and four assists off the bench.
