The Iowa Baseball team evened up the series with Rutgers, with an emphatic 15-0 win over the Scarlet Knights on Saturday afternoon. A breakout day at the plate that felt unavoidable with some of the frustrations the Hawkeyes have had throughout the first couple of weeks of the season.
The Iowa bats clubbed six home runs, including a pair of long balls from Missouri transfer Jackson Beaman. They put up crooked numbers in the middle innings, totaling two runs in the fourth, seven in the fifth and five in the sixth inning to build a commanding lead.
