Play-by-play recap: Iowa 12 Bradley 5
The Iowa Baseball team pulled off a successful sweep of the midweek home-and-home series against Bradley, defeating the Braves 12-5 at Duane Banks Field on Wednesday night.
Iowa fell behind early with Timmy O’Brien’s third inning three-run home run putting Bradley in front 4-0. However, the Hawkeyes answered, scoring in each of the next three innings, including a six-run third inning to take control of the game.
With the win, the Hawkeyes move to 24-11 overall on the season, while they sit atop the Big Ten standings with a 14-4 record. Iowa travels to Michigan for a three-game series with the Wolverines this weekend.
