Play-by-play recap: Iowa 15 St Thomas 5 (F/8)
The Iowa Baseball team needed a bounce back on Wednesday evening and they got it in a big way, run-ruling St Thomas 15-5 in eight innings. After tallying just three runs in the loss to WIU on Tuesday, the Hawkeyes scored multiple runs in four innings, totaling 13 hits.
With the win, the Hawkeyes move to 28-12 on the season, while their 17-4 mark in Big Ten play has them sitting with a 2.5-game lead over UCLA for the top spot. Iowa has won 25 of 31 games since starting the season 3-6.
