Pryce Sandfort went back to roots to find his shot
Last year in the early portion of the season, Payton Sandfort was struggling with his outside shot. Always an outstanding shooter, Sandfort went back to basics to find his stoke and it worked. In the second half of the Iowa basketball season, he was knocking down three point field goals.
While on their holiday break, Pryce Sandfort went back to his roots, just like his brother did one year earlier. Both brothers got in the gym with their grandfather and dad to get shots up and it seems to have worked. In Iowa’s win over Northern Illinois, Pryce Sandfort hit three of four shots from three point range. He talks about the impact it had getting back into the gym and how his coaches have also helped him with his game.
