Sullivan happy to be back at Iowa
Sean Sullivan grew up in Iowa City. He went to high school at Iowa City Regina and was a student at the University of Iowa. He was part of the group of male players that worked with the Hawkeye women’s team during his time as an undergraduate student and eventually got his start in the coaching and administrative side of the women’s game. Eventually that brought him back home to Iowa City.
Sullivan speaks for the first time since his return to Iowa about his coaching journey thus far and what he learned along the way. He talks about recruiting relationships that he can bring to the Iowa program, finding out that Lisa Bluder was retiring and getting a call from Jan Jensen to see if he would be interested, and what he has seen from this Hawkeye team since he arrived back a few days ago.
