Stratton ready for opportunity

While it might seem at times like Jackson Stratton came out of nowhere to suddenly become Iowa's starting quarterback, every player has an origin story. For 6-foot-4, 193-pound Stratton, that starts in Southern California where he grew up and played high school football at La Jolla for head coach Tyler Roach.
