Sydney Affolter moves into leadership role
If you watched Sydney Affolter play basketball, it’s fair to assume that with he physical and fearless style of play that she might have been banged up more than once in her career. This summer it was a nagging knee issue due to what she called wear and tear that put her on the sidelines for the time being. Affolter spoke at media day about the injury.
Affolter also talks about what she has seen from the freshmen group and how they appear to be very talented, how she learned and grew as a leader by watching Kate Martin and how she is ready to assume that role this season, and what to expect from Lucy Olsen.
