Four-star WR Terrence Smith makes college decision
Four-star wide receiver Terrence Smith has made his college decision. The 6-foot-4, 185-pound standout from West Aurora High School in Illinois announced today that he will be attending the University of Iowa and playing for the Hawkeyes next year.
With great size and athleticism, Smith is a huge addition for Iowa in the Class of 2025. In the end, he chose the Hawkeyes over scholarship offers from Minnesota, Purdue, Iowa State, Northern Illinois, Akron, Ball State, Kent State, Central Michigan, and Western Michigan, among others.

A multi-sport star in high school, Smith also earned college basketball offers from Bryant and Stony Brook and is an accomplished high jumper with a personal best of 6-foot-5.
Overall, Smith is commitment No. 15 for the Hawkeyes as he joins Iose Epenesa, Thomas Meyer, Carson Cooney, Joey VanWetzinga, Jimmy Sullivan, Burke Gautcher, Eli Johnson, Drew MacPherson, Mason Woods, Cameron Herron, Lucas Allgeyer, CJ Bell, Brad Fitzgibbon, and Scott Starzyk in Iowa’s recruiting class of 2025.
