Perkins working at point guard
Playing point guard isn’t anything new for Tony Perkins. He did it last year for the Iowa Hawkeyes and as of now, the expectation is that Perkins will be running the offense this winter. That’s based on what he said on Thursday when Perkins met with the media.
Perkins spent a few minutes discussing his work this summer, including a trip to Las Vegas to work with a relative who is a basketball trainer. What did he do in those training sessions and how did it help him? He also talks about some of the younger players on the roster and his own shooting.
