Tory Taylor proves once again punting is winning
Tory Taylor might be the best punter in all of college football. But, the Aussie senior with the booming leg felt that earlier this season, he wasn’t pulling his weight. He felt he was not performing up to his standards as Iowa’s punter.
Those days are long gone now. Saturday was perhaps his best performance as a Hawkeye and that’s saying something. Taylor punted 10 times for an amazing 506 yards. He dropped footballs inside the 20 yard line several times and helped the Hawkeyes maintain or create field position. He talks about his early season struggles and the difference he made today on the field in Iowa’s road win at Wisconsin.
