Tory Taylor named Ray Guy Punter of the Week
It was a week late, but the Ray Guy Award finally gave the punter of the week award to Iowa’s Tory Taylor. The Hawkeye punter was honored after his performance in last Saturday’s contest against Minnesota. The Australia native punted nine times for 444 yards, averaging 49.3 yards per punt. Four of his kicks traveled over 50 yards, while four were downed inside the 20-yard line.
Taylor is a first team midseason All-America honoree by the Associated Press, ESPN, CBS, The Athletic and FOX.
