WATCH: Addi O'Grady talks Senior Day, her breakout final season
Addi O’Grady could have entered the transfer portal. She played sparingly over her first three seasons as a Hawkeye, but continued to work and now, has become an integral piece in the Iowa rotation this season. O’Grady has made 18 starts this season, including stand out moments against Virginia Tech, Drake, USC and others. On top of having a breakout season as a senior, Addi performed well when her number was called during the Hawkeyes two Final Four runs.
On Thursday afternoon, Addi O’Grady met with the media talking about she’s seen her hard work pay off with her role this season, her favorite memories as a Hawkeye and why she never thought about entering the portal. She also spoke about what’s in store for her after school as a chemical engineering major.
