WATCH: Fran McCaffery discusses adversity filled season, previews Illinois

After splitting the pair of games against the Pacific Northwest schools, the Hawkeyes get back to facing team they are more accustomed to playing, with a trip to Champaign set for Tuesday night. We caught up with Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery to discuss the game against the Illinois and what he has seen from them this season.

Coach McCaffery also talked how the team has stuck together through all of the adversity they have faced and how it compares to other experiences he has had during his time as a head coach. Fran also discussed how they game plan for a game knowing that teams are going to sell out on trying to stop Payton Sandfort and Josh Dix.
