Iowa Women’s Basketball senior forward Hannah Stuelke has been absent from the first two open media practices in Iowa City, but it’s been for good reason, as she competes with Team USA at the FIBA AmeriCup. Stuelke is one of seven players on the roster making their debut in the red, white and blue.

Team USA has moved on to the semifinals at the FIBA AmeriCup in Santiago, Chile. Stuelke and her teammates will take the floor for the semifinal game at 4:40 p.m. CT, with a spot in the gold medal game on the line. The game will be streamed for free on Courtside 1891.

Through five games at the tournament, Hannah is averaging 6.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 15.2 minutes per game. She has shot 75.0% (12/16) from two-point range and has pulled down 11 offensive rebounds. In Team USA’s Quarterfinal win over the Dominican Republic, Stuelke had a tournament-best game, totaling ten points, eight rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots.

On Saturday afternoon they will go up against a Team Canada team that has plenty of familiar faces, including Shayeann Day-Wilson, Shay Colley, Yvonne Ejim, Syla Swords and Delaney Gibb.
