Just two minutes into the game and Hawkeye starter Hannah Stuelke headed to the bench with a couple of fouls. Some adversity for Iowa right off the bat, but Ava Heiden was ready for the moment. She put up 13 points in the first half, finishing with a team-high 15 points and seven rebounds in the 92-57 win over the Racers. The play over Taylor Stremlow was crucial as well, with several Iowa players battling first half foul trouble. She put up a season-best 10 points, including a pair of three-pointers. The Heiden-Stremlow duo combined for 21 of Iowa’s 42 first half points.
