It’s territory that this roster and first-year head coach Jan Jensen have not had to traverse yet. The Hawkeyes fall to 12-5 overall and 2-4 in Big Ten play, while a rivalry matchup against Nebraska looms large on Thursday.
Jan Jensen met with the media after the loss, discussing who she can turn to in the big moments right now and what she’s trying to find with her substitution patterns. She also spoke about the offense and how she felt the performed.
We also got to speak with Taylor McCabe and Taylor Stremlow after the loss. Stremlow spoke about her ability to give the team a spark off the bench and fighting back from another deficit.
