WATCH: Jan Jensen, Hawkeyes talk win over Rutgers
It wasn’t far from a perfect performance on Thursday night, but the Iowa women’s basketball team (18-7, 8-6) was able to grind out a 55-43 win over Rutgers (10-15, 2-12) to extend their winning streak to six games. Lucy Olsen led the way with a game-high 27 points, while Syd Affolter notched her fourth double-double in eight games.
Head Coach Jan Jensen met with the media after the game, discussing her thoughts on the win, what she liked and dislike about her team’s performance, how she thought the offense performed, and more.
