As exciting as the home win over fourth-ranked USC was for the Iowa women’s basketball team, the schedule doesn’t provide any time to relish a win for an extended period. The Hawkeyes are off to Minneapolis for a Thursday night matchup against the border rival Minnesota Golden Gophers.
Head coach Jan Jensen met with the media on Wednesday afternoon to discuss the confidence the team gained from the win over USC and how the early season adversity makes it easier to refocus after a big win. She also previewed their matchup with Minnesota, talking about the challenges the Gophers pose.
