Class of 2024 offensive tackle Will Nolan has made his college decision. The 6-foot-6, 275-pound Illinois native announced his verbal commitment to Iowa today just a couple weeks after receiving a scholarship offer from the Hawkeyes.

“I genuinely just love Iowa,” Nolan told HawkeyeReport.com. “I’ve always wanted to play for a prestigious offensive line team. The second the offer came in, I almost knew right away it’s where I’m headed.”

A rising prospect with impressive junior film, Nolan chose Iowa over offers from Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, Vanderbilt, Iowa State, Duke, Syracuse, Marshall, Miami-OH, Akron, Ball State, Northern Illinois, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Ohio, Kent State, Illinois State, and Campbell.

A big factor in Nolan’s decision was his relationship with Iowa offensive line coach George Barnett, who is originally from Tuscola, IL, and has a connection to the coaching staff at John Hersey High School.
