Buzz: 10 players trending up for Kansas State in training camp
Our Kansas State buzz comes via a message board post at KSO and digs into all sorts of relevant topics in Wildcat land. And nearly every insider piece this time of year is obviously going to focus on training camp and the progress.
A little over a week is already in the books in Manhattan. And this time next year a bit over two weeks will already be behind us and just over two weeks from the first game since K-State will be taking on Iowa State in Ireland.
But it’s time to consider the 10 players being raved about the most by either the Kansas State coaches or their teammates. It is a bit more offensive-focused at the moment because we’ve yet to chat with defensive coordinator Joe Klanderman or anyone on that side of the ball.
That hasn’t stopped some of the K-State offensive players, offensive coordinator Conor Riley or head coach Chris Klieman from praising some defenders, though. A few of those are in the Wildcats’ secondary.

A pair of offensive linemen have been mentioned multiple times in complimentary fashion by the coaching staff at this point. And neither are a slam dunk to be in the starting lineup on game one when the Wildcats host UT-Martin.
