Our Kansas State buzz comes via a message board post at KSO and is centered on the Wildcats’ recruiting efforts this week, both in football and basketball. Both Jerome Tang and Chris Klieman continue to mine the transfer portal.

K-State began hosting UConn quarterback transfer Ta’Quan Roberson for an official visit on Sunday and he left Manhattan earlier in the day on Tuesday. Kansas State still needs a quarterback after not being able to land Cooper Legas of Utah State.

Can they close on Roberson?

What intel do we have on a potential K-State basketball visitor this week? And for clarity, we are not referring to Achor Achor. While he remains a target, that one will require some patience as it unfolds and is not nearing a conclusion just yet.

The reporting around the recruitment of Achor has been wildly inconsistent and rapidly fluctuating. We share the latest, including another team dipping their toes into the waters to see if they can make it work for the Samford big man.
