Buzz: Kansas State injury report, practice vibes

Our Kansas State buzz comes via a message board post at KSO and digs into all sorts of relevant topics in Wildcat land. It’s time to assess the 34-27 win over Tulane a bit more but also look ahead to a major Friday showdown with Arizona.

Obviously it is the first game between two top 20 teams in Bill Snyder Family Stadium since K-State hosted Auburn in 2014. That’s wild.

The Wildcats escaped New Orleans after getting a scare once again from the Green Wave. What I do every week is point out some players that stood out after intently re-watching the game and looking at every spot.

Head coach Chris Klieman was very blunt, honest and transparent in his postgame press conference as always. He pointed out that he didn’t like what he saw from his team in the practices leading up to the Tulane game from an execution standpoint.
