Buzz: Kansas State standouts in Week 9 win
Our Kansas State buzz comes via a message board post at KSO and digs into all sorts of relevant topics in Wildcat land. We’ll assess the eight game of the season for K-State, which was a wire-to-wire thriller that resulted in a Wildcat win over Kansas for the 16th straight season.
As is tradition, just like Kansas State defeating the Jayhawks at this point, it is time to pick the standouts on each side of the ball for the Wildcats. It wasn’t always pretty on either side of the ball, but some did emerge with either strong performances or huge plays.

Has anyone looked at schedules lately? Obviously it opened up quite nicely for all of Iowa State, BYU and Colorado. In addition to Kansas State, those are the three other top teams in the Big 12 conference at this point.
It is time to examine what’s left and compare the slates for the four contending for a spot in Arlington.
