Kansas State adds late flip Dylan Villarouel
Kansas State has brought out the spatula on the first day of the Early Signing Period. K-State has flipped Forsyth, Georgia native Dylan Villarouel.
The recruitment for Villarouel was a fast pace sprint. Kansas State offered the Georgia native November 8 while he was committed to James Madison. Shortly after the offer an official visit was scheduled to K-State for November 15-17. Villarouel was on hand for the Arizona State contest in Manhattan.
After the visit, his recruitment got a little quiet. It was thought he could be sticking with his commitment to the Bulldogs. He even returned to James Madison for a visit last weekend for the Bulldogs to try and keep him committed.
However, his relationship with Kansas State offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Conor Riley won him over. The Georgia native also grew a close bond with K-State offensive lineman Kyle Rakers while in Manhattan.

K-State has been no strangers to flipping prospects this cycle. Villarouel is the fifth signee in the 2025 class that was committed to a different school at one point. Kansas State has also flipped a player from the Power Four, Group of Five and FCS.
The Georgia native gets Kansas State back into the Peach State after not having a prospect from there in the 2024 class. In the past, Georgia has been very kind to the Wildcats. Just this season VJ Payne and Jack Fabris were important pieces on K-State’s roster as Georgia natives.
In total Villarouel is commitment No. 23 for Kansas State in the 2025 recruiting class. He joins Dillon Duff, Weston Polk, Will Kemna, Martel Jackson, Adonis Moise, Dalton Knapp, Sawyer Schilke, JoJo Scott, Maguire Richman, Dominic Mitchell, Brock Heath, Linkon Cure, RJ Collins, Monterrio Elston, Ashton Moore, Noah King, Logan Bartley, Brad Stanyer, Darien Whitaker, Patrick Tackie and Arrion Concepcion.
