Kansas State adds Samford transfer guard Ques Glover
Though Kansas State basketball is in Israel and the United Arab Emirates for some sightseeing, tremendous life experiences and a bit of hoops, that doesn’t mean they aren’t still recruiting. Remember, two scholarship spots remained open when they headed overseas.
They have filled one of those by receiving a commitment from Samford transfer guard Ques Glover. He picked Kansas State over a few other Power Five programs, namely Illinois and Indiana.
He is the third transfer to commit to K-State in the current cycle, joining Tylor Perry and Arthur Kaluma. Jerome Tang and company are no stranger to adding players in August. It was just last year when Keyontae Johnson and Anthony Thomas committed to Kansas State on August 20 and 21, respectively.
Before picking K-State, Glover was originally committed to BYU after transferring from Samford. However, it wasn’t what he was expecting and not the situation that he signed up for and he instead entered the transfer portal in hopes of finding an alternative home.
The senior guard averaged 14.7 points per game, 2.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 19 games for the Bulldogs last season. Injuries plagued him and limited him to just 19 contests on the year.

Glover only played in one game against high-major competition (DePaul) last year, but he scored six points in 17 minutes. In 2021, Glover put up 16 points on Oregon State to go along with nine assists and also had 21 points versus Ole Miss.
He will see much more of that while at Kansas State.
As a junior, the Tennessee native averaged 19.2 points and 4.4 assists per game. He led the team in scoring in 2021 and was third in scoring average per game in the Southern Conference. His 129 total assists ranked second in the conference as well.
In 16 of his 29 games as a junior, Glover scored at least 20 points. For his efforts at Samford, he was named a first team all-conference pick in 2021 and a second team pick by the coaches after the 2022 season.
While at Florida, Glover averaged 3.6 points per game in 51 career contests for the Gators, while averaging 10.8 minutes per game.
He will have one season of eligibility remaining at K-State.
