Kansas State commit Noah King discusses official visit
Kansas State hosted a bevy of visitors for the Sunflower Showdown over the weekend. The visitor listed included an impressive 14 of the then 18 commits. Darien Whitaker has since committed to the Wildcats and was also in Manhattan for the game.
Another one of the commits on campus was Ohio safety Noah King. The Ohio native took his official visit for the Kansas game.
“Great official visit, great time with coaches players and other recruits,” King began. “My first game day environment from Kansas State and it did not disappoint. I thought it was great and special environment first game gave me chills felt very special.”
One moment in particular on the visit stood out to the Ohio native.
“Favorite part had to be the position meetings with Coach [Joe] Klanderman talking football,” he shared. “As well as the football game with the commits and watching the great game.”
The visit was his first time being around Kansas State commits RJ Collins and Whitaker who were also on official visits.

Former President nixes PSU vs. Ohio State
“It was great to be around them and get to know those dudes are studs that can play and will be huge for K-State,” he pointed out. “My favorite moment was probably seeing the game and fans scream and all of us coming together and saying the environment is crazy or seeing the fans there at 11 am for 7 pm game while getting our tour.”
Being around K-State safeties coach and defensive coordinator Joe Klanderman was another highlight for the safety.
“He has so much knowledge of the game and he’s a great person to be around and talk to,” he opined.
King has gotten close to a few different Kansas State commits.
“[I’m closer with] Linkon Cure, RJ and Martel Jackson,” he pointed out. “It was great talking with them we are all from different places and we are all very similar.”
