Kansas State flips Wake Forest commit Logan Bartley
Kansas State has scored another 2025 commit. Naples, Florida safety Logan Bartley picked the Wildcats.
The announcement from the three-star defensive back comes after a visit to K-State. Bartley quietly visited Manhattan on July 25 while still committed to Wake Forest. It was an unofficial visit that actually coincided with the last K-State camp of the summer.
Bartley was seen on the sidelines with some of the Wildcats coaches and support staff while watching the camp. Shortly after his time on campus, the rising senior announced his de-commitment from the Demon Deacons.
Bartley’s recruitment was an all-out sprint for the Wildcats. He was offered during the July dead period. He had also been committed to the ACC school since January, but Kansas State made up so much ground during the dead period he decided to flip his commitment.
A tip of the hat goes to K-State defensive coordinator Joe Klanderman for making the Sunshine State native a major priority and developing such a strong relationship with him. In total, Bartley held offers from Boston College, Eastern Kentucky, Illinois, Ole Miss and Wake Forest in addition to Kansas State.
Illinois, like K-State, offered the rising senior during the July dead period.
After a bit of a slower start to safety recruiting, the Wildcats have recovered nicely. Serious Stinyard picked West Virginia after visiting Kansas State and Leo Almanza chose Baylor after his time in Manhattan.

However, since losing on Almanza and Stinyard, K-State has landed safety commits Dominic Mitchell, RJ Collins, Noah King and now Bartley. Mitchell and Collins both camped in The Little Apple before committing to the Wildcats.
Bartley had a very productive junior season at First Baptist Academy. Last season he tallied 101 tackles, 17.5 tackles for a loss, four pass break-ups, three sacks, an interception, forced a fumble and collected a fumble recovery.
Overall, Bartley is commitment No. 17 in the 2025 class for Kansas State.
He joins Dillon Duff, Weston Polk, Will Kemna, Martel Jackson, Adonis Moise, Dalton Knapp, Sawyer Schilke, JoJo Scott, Maguire Richman, Dominic Mitchell, Brock Heath, Linkon Cure, RJ Collins, Monterrio Elston, Ashton Moore and King.
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Bartley is the No. 726 prospect in the country and No. 64 safety.
