Kansas State lands LB Ashton Moore
Kansas State has struck again in the 2025 class. Louisburg, Kansas linebacker Ashton Moore has committed to K-State.
The recruitment of the linebacker was a relatively quick one. Moore was offered by the Wildcats at the first camp of the summer on May 30. From the point of the offer, Kansas State was in the driver’s seat. Old Dominion also offered the rising senior linebacker this summer and did so on June 12.
Moore also has strong ties to Kansas State as well. His older brother Austin Moore is going into his sixth season at K-State as a linebacker. Last season, the older Moore was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team by the leagues coaches.
Moore has had a productive first three seasons at Louisburg. He is a two time all state linebacker as well as being a wrestler and running track. Last season, Moore recorded 125 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, four forced fumbles, four pass breakups and two sacks.

The five in state commitments for Kansas State is the most in a single class since the 2023 class which had six commitments from the Sunflower State.
Overall, Moore is commitment No. 15 for the Wildcats in the 2025 class. He joins Dillon Duff, Weston Polk, Will Kemna, Jackson, Adonis Moise, Dalton Knapp, Sawyer Schilke, JoJo Scott, Richman, Dominic Mitchell, Heath, Cure, RJ Collins and Monterrio Elston. Moore is the fourth linebacker in the 2025 class as well joining Polk, Schilke and Richman. The rising senior linebacker has not yet been ranked by On3.
