Braet and tight ends coach Brian Lepak played a major, major role in landing the Sunflower State standout. Braet and Lepak made him and his family feel at home while also constantly making him feel wanted.
It goes back to before he had an offer as well.
Kansas State was the first school to begin recruiting Cure period. Also playing a role for the Wildcats in landing him was offensive coordinator Conor Riley and co-offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Matt Wells.
After Collin Klein left K-State for Texas A&M, Riley and Wells showed him how he would be used and sealed the deal for the Wildcats.
