Kansas State lands transfer safety Jordan Riley
Kansas State has had a busy week recruiting in the transfer portal. Former Ball State safety Jordan Riley has announced his commitment to K-State.
The announcement from Riley comes on the heels of an official visit to Manhattan. He was one of many official visitors to embark on The Little Apple over the weekend.
The Wildcats offered the Maryland native December 12. Shortly after the offer, a visit to Kansas State was scheduled and after the visit, he announced his commitment. It is a Big 12 recruiting victory for K-State. Riley committed to the Wildcats over offers from Houston and Cincinnati in the transfer portal. Riley also visited the Cougars before his time in Manhattan.
At one time, safety did not appear to be a need for the Wildcats. However, Kobe Savage announced his intention to transfer from Kansas State causing safety to be more of a need. Riley will be joining the safety room at K-State which will return two starters from this season in VJ Payne and Marques Sigle.
