Kansas State lands WR Caleb Medford
Another day, another Kansas State portal commitment. K-State has now landed New Mexico wide receiver Caleb Medford.
The announcement from Medford comes just after the Wildcats had landed two other transfer portal pickups this week. It is the third transfer portal pickup of the week for Kansas State after Alabama edge rusher Jayshawn Ross and Wagner offensive tackle Brandon Sneh.
Kansas State has been looking to add to the wide receiver room a lot in this 2025 recruiting cycle. Three high school wideouts have been added and now Medford is the third transfer wide receiver added joining Boston College wide receiver Jerand Bradley and Purdue’s Jaron Tibbs. K-State wide receivers coach Matthew Middleton deserves credit for the quick flip of his position group which also added junior college wide receiver JD Davis in the fall as well.
Medford will be returning to the Big 12 to play for the Wildcats. He began his career at TCU where he appeared in just six games and did not record a stat in two seasons. After his two seasons for the Horned Frogs, he transferred to New Mexico.
