Kansas State offense: A projected depth chart
The Kansas State football season is upon us. Monday will be the beginning of the first game week of the year, as the Wildcats are set to host SEMO (Southeast Missouri State) in their season opener that has already been announced as a sellout.
Kickoff time is at 6:00 p.m. CST on ESPN Plus.
Although the K-State staff won’t likely release a two-deep or depth chart until Monday or Tuesday, KSO took their first crack at it and what the offensive side of the ball might look like under offensive coordinator Collin Klein this season.
The known commodities remain, such as Kansas State quarterback Will Howard, tight end Ben Sinnott and offensive linemen Cooper Beebe, Hayden Gillum and KT Leveston, but who else composes the list of K-State contributors for this season?
How will they approach the multiple mouths to feed in the backfield? Who starts at wide receivers? Where are the new transfers listed? What’s the depth look like behind the first units at both tight end and receiver? Can any true freshmen emerge?
