Kansas State players of the game in loss to Mizzou
Kansas State offensive MVP: Ben Sinnott
The Kansas State offense was inconsistent at times. The best receiving threat was Ben Sinnott, though he did have a few drops that hurt the Wildcats. The junior tight end had 78 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Sinnott also had a 34-yard catch where he hurdled a defender in the second half.
K-State quarterback Will Howard had an up-and-down day, but he still threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns. He dealt with a leg injury most of the game, which limited his mobility. Treshaun Ward had a nice second half from scrimmage as well. The Florida State transfer had 54 yards rushing and 61 yards receiving.
Defensive MVP: Daniel Green
Picking a defensive MVP for Kansas State was a more difficult decision. The secondary was not good for most of the game, but they settled in during the second and third quarter. The pass rush affected the game but rarely got home.
Daniel Green was not superb in the first half, but he made plays in the second half. He led the team in tackles with nine and tackles for a loss with 2.5. The super senior also had a sack on the first possession of the second half, and that helped flip field position in the favor of K-State.

Senior safety Kobe Savage also added eight tackles and a tackle for a loss. It was probably the best that Savage has looked in the non-conference portion of the schedule.
K-State special teams MVP: Phillip Brooks
Returner Phillip Brooks had a great day. Although he only returned three the whole game, he averaged 22 yards per return and flipped the field in the fourth quarter after a good Missouri punt. He also had a 36-yard kick return.
Chris Tennant was solid but came up short on a 55-yard field goal attempt. Jack Blumer struggled.
