Kansas State players of the game in win at Colorado
Kansas State offensive MVP: DJ Giddens
I am honestly starting to running out of descriptors for DJ Giddens. The Kansas State running back has been so, so good this season. He added to a great season by rushing for 182 yards versus Colorado. He also had a few ankle-breaking moves and had lots of wiggle.
Giddens became the first player to rush for 100 yards on the Buffaloes this season and did it in one half. He also caught two passes for 38 yards, including a 34 yard reception to help set up the game winning score.
Avery Johnson ended up having a very solid night. He made a few big throws on key downs and rushed for a massive touchdown on a fourth down attempt. Johnson also made the biggest play of the game on a 50 yard touchdown toss to Jayce Brown.
Brown had one of the best games for a K-State receiver in recent memory. The sophomore wideout finished with six catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns. Brown made some very big catches in clutch situations, including the game winner.
Defensive MVP: Brendan Mott
Brendan Mott and honestly the whole Kansas State defensive line were one of the major bright spots for the Wildcat defense.

Mott was providing pressure all night and recorded 1.5 sacks to go with four tackles. The super senior was extremely tough to block all night and drew a few holding penalties. He also forced his matchup into a false start late in the game because of how quickly he was able to get off the ball.
Cody Stufflebean and Travis Bates were both solid in the win as well. The pair had one sack each and were part of a K-State defense that had six sacks total.
K-State special teams MVP: Chris Tennant
Chris Tennant was not asked to do much Saturday night, but his one field goal proved to be very important for Kansas State. Tennant was also perfect on all four of his extra points.
Dylan Edwards had just one punt return, but he took it 20 yards. True freshman DeVon Rice had a splash return for 36 yards on a kickoff as well.
