Kansas State is on a major heater on the recruiting trail. El Paso, Texas, offensive lineman Justin Morales has committed to K-State.

The announcement from Morales comes on the heels of an official visit to Manhattan over the weekend. Morales was one of 14 official visitors at K-State this weekend.

Kansas State offered Morales back in February and put the pressure on from there. K-State offensive line coach Brian Lepak forged a strong relationship with Morales, and during the visit the Texan pulled the trigger on the Wildcats. Shortly after the visit, Morales told KSO that Kansas State was the best staff he had seen put together.

Morales is a major recruiting win for Kansas State over many power conference programs. The junior held offers from Auburn, Baylor, Oregon State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Arizona State, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Texas State, Texas Tech, Tulane and UTEP before committing to K-State. The junior also had visits scheduled to Michigan State, Oregon State, Wisconsin and Baylor and was really starting to see his recruitment take off this spring but has shut his recruitment down with his commitment.

Lepak continues to absolutely roll on the recruiting trail since taking over as offensive line coach at Kansas State in February. Morales is the third offensive lineman to join Kansas State’s 2026 recruiting class joining Mill Valley product LaMarcus Barber and Colorado native Oliver Miller. K-State also sits in a good spot for another Texas offensive lineman Keegan Collins.

In total, Morales is commitment No. 7 for Kansas State. He is also the sixth commitment to K-State since April 21. Morales joins a class of Texas corner Brandon Ford, Barber, Oklahoma linebacker DJ Ackerson, Texas offensive lineman Keegan Collins and West.
