Kansas State offensive lineman Cooper Beebe earned 2022 Big 12 offensive lineman of the year and All-Big 12 first team honors. This is his first year winning an award after what has been an incredible season and career for the Kansas City, Kansas native.
Beebe can play any position along the offensive line and he’s proved that. The last two seasons he was played almost exclusively at tackle, even though guard was always his most natural and best position. He simply has been the best lineman on the team for years and they felt the need to have him protecting the edge.

This year the staff felt they had enough to spell him on the outside, deciding it was time for him to move inside. He carried an offensive line that has struggled. Beebe is always the right option to run behind and he’s helped stud teammate Deuce Vaughn find openings his whole career.
Beebe has a decision to make after this season on whether or not to come back for a senior season or to make the move to the NFL in his first year eligible. Before that though, the Wildcats will be competing in the Big 12 Championship with TCU followed by a likely Sugar Bowl appearance.
