New RPM prediction for On3 top five in-state prospect Jordan Allen
K-State Online has been monitoring the recruitment of Olathe South (Kan.) defensive end Jordan Allen and it is a recruitment that has been kept close to his vest.
For a while, it seemed as if he would pick an out-of-state school and that Kansas State was trailing for his services. However, I have made an official prediction for the three-star defensive end to choose the Wildcats.
With an 80 percent confidence level, I am very high on K-State’s chances.
His recruitment was somewhat a wild ride.
KSO had heard that Kansas State was in a great position to land him, although his actions did not always reflect that. He took official visits to Iowa, Iowa State and Missouri during the month of June. However, he did sneak in a visit to Manhattan at the end of July.
Will be on the K-State campus again this weekend for an official visit.
Allen grew up a fan of the Wildcats and was not shy about the fact early on in his recruitment. I believe that the idea of playing for a team he is very fond of, staying close to home and aligning with other in-state prospects are the main reasons he’ll choose Kansas State.

It may not take long for the Wildcats to receive the nod from Allen, considering his fourth official visit of the process begins in two days. It would not shock us to see a decision come after his trip to Manhattan this weekend.
He would be the third defensive end of the 2023 cycle for K-State, joining Arizona native Ryan Davis and Minnesota product Chiddi Obiazor.
Kansas State has kept a majority of the 2023 prospects in the state of Kansas at home, as Allen could potentially be the sixth native of the Sunflower State to commit to the Wildcats, headlined by quarterback Avery Johnson.
Remember, all K-State fans can sign up at KSO for just a dollar for the whole year.
