Nuggets on Kansas State (in terms of inside intel) is relegated to our message board at KSO but still spills out the best information on the Wildcats in the market. It is time to consider what parts of the defensive hype haven’t convinced us.

Not long ago we explored what parts of the K-State defense we were buying, such as the defensive line, safety VJ Payne and a couple of true freshmen showing promise. What parts are being hyped that still give KSO a bit of pause?

We have yet to discuss the second level of the Kansas State defense.

The third level has one of our favorites in Payne but much of the rest of the unit is unproven or has yet to establish himself. K-State replaces four starters. We share why the back end of the defense could still be a deficiency and what could go wrong.
