Our Kansas State recruiting scoop moving forward will now be via a message board post at KSO and sponsored by our friends at MyPerfectFranchise.net. We thank them for their partnership and supporting the Wildcats and our site at On3.

We’re in the grind of football season but here today to deliver some basketball recruiting intel. Head coach Jerome Tang and his K-State staff have been busy on the road seeing some of the best talent in the nation the last couple weeks.

It helped us uncover another five-star prospect that is very, very serious about the Wildcats. We discuss that visit, jump inside the recruitment a bit to reveal where Kansas State stands and recap the four different five-star prospects genuinely listening to the staff.

From one five-star prospect to another. Most of the conversation has been centered on AJ Dybantsa since he is the No. 1 prospect in the country and has already visited Manhattan this season. But we were given reason to continue to follow the recruitment of Darryn Peterson as well.

The Ohio native is believed to be a strong lean to Kansas. Nobody is really refuting that. But the Jayhawks were joined by Kansas State, USC and Ohio State after another list chop from Peterson. What are the chances? When does he visit Manhattan? We have that info.

Is there reason to worry about where Chris Klieman and Kansas State sit for Omaha athlete Darien Whitaker? It has been quiet and he remained uncommitted after his week one visit to see the Wildcats defeat UT-Martin.
