Recruiting Scoop: Kansas State roster management plan

Our Kansas State recruiting scoop moving forward will now be via a message board post at KSO and sponsored by our friends at MyPerfectFranchise.net. We thank them for their partnership and supporting the Wildcats and our site at On3.
The 2026 class isn’t off to a roaring start. We explain many of the reasons for that, as the Wildcats sit with just one commit in defensive back Brandon Ford of Texas. They did sign a big group last year. Does that make an impact? Is the K-State focus on the portal a factor? What about the exemplary retention?

Switching gears to basketball, they’re in a similar spot. K-State did not sign a single prospect in the early period. Will they add a 2025 commit at all? What will be the plan moving forward and does roster continuity play a role in it?

A top three was released by Shawnee Heights wideout (Topeka) Tyren Parker just before his college decision. Kansas State was not included. We explain why and illustrate that it is not time to panic for the Wildcats.
