Recruiting Scoop: What Linkon Cure not visiting Oregon means for Kansas State
Our Kansas State recruiting scoop moving forward will now be via a message board post at KSO and sponsored by our friends at MyPerfectFranchise.net. We thank them for their partnership and supporting the Wildcats and our site at On3.
After much deliberation, K-State tight end commit Linkon Cure ultimately chose to purchase a flight and head to Oregon for their home game against Maryland this weekend. However, a snowstorm in Denver prevented him from taking off, and it is now no longer a go.
What does that mean for Kansas State moving forward? Could a stop in Eugene still take place at some point? How many options remain for that?

The only other recruiting item that is significant enough to be discussed right now is what is unfolding at quarterback in the 2026 cycle. K-State has offered a handful of targets and many have already visited the Manhattan campus.
