Our Kansas State recruiting scoop moving forward will now be via a message board post at KSO and sponsored by our friends at MyPerfectFranchise.net. We thank them for their partnership and supporting the Wildcats and our site at On3.

Jerome Tang and K-State hit it out of the park in the transfer portal by landing four of the best available players in Coleman Hawkins of Illinois, Samford transfer Achor Achor, Dug McDaniel from Michigan and Kentucky’s Ugonna Onyenso.

The Wildcats also added plenty of other solid contributors. But they are not finished. Kansas State has assembled a fantastic 2024-2025 roster that can compete for the Big 12 title and are looking to follow that up with a major splash in the high school ranks.

Three different five-star prospects advanced K-State to the next phase of their recruitment in the past week. Where do the Wildcats stand with the trio of AJ Dybantsa, Meleek Thomas and Darryn Peterson and how much of a threat are they to land each one?

That doesn’t mean the Wildcats won’t chase four-star prospects as well. They have already hosted forward Nigel Walls on an unofficial visit and are making huge strides with top 50 prospect Cam Ward of Washington, D.C.
