What is a good way to finish up the offseason and the dull month of July? How about an elite group of prospects set to embark for one last visit to Kansas State before high school and college football practices begin?

That works for me, and it will certainly work for the K-State coaches and fans.

Kansas State players and coaches will report to fall camp during the first week of August. They are tasked with defending their Big 12 championship that they won in December of 2022 by defeating the TCU Horned Frogs.

Before that trek kicks off, they are hoping to put some significant touches on their 2024 high school recruiting class. Though it has just seven commits thus far, which is pretty small compared to most other Power Five programs, K-State anticipates signing a small group.

Remember, the Wildcats will return much of their 2023 roster for the 2024 season if it unfolds the way they expect and desire. As always, they will also allocate certain spots for transfer pickups in the offseason, too.

Because of that, Kansas State will host a collection of significant targets on Thursday that consists of high school players from both the 2024 and 2025 recruiting cycle. In fact, the Class of 2025 in the Sunflower State will be much more loaded than the 2024 crop.

With that being said, Thursday’s list will be comprised of the best players in the state in the 2024 cycle, many of the K-State commits and some of the early 2025 targets that Chris Klieman and the Wildcats have already prioritized.
