What I'm hearing: Kansas State offensive line health
What we’re hearing on Kansas State (in terms of inside intel) is relegated to our message board at KSO but still spills out the best information on the Wildcats in the market, both from a team and K-State recruiting standpoint.
It is also brought to you by Aer Lingus – which have the travel packages for you if you want to see Kansas State take on Iowa State in Ireland in 2025. Make sure to visit Cats2Ireland.com today and check out the opportunities.
K-State is 2-0 after a 34-27 win over Tulane at Yulman Stadium in a rainy New Orleans despite deficits of 14-3 and 20-10. They look to respond when they host Arizona on a short week in what is still identified as a non-conference game even though they are Big 12 foes.
A hurdle could be offensive line health. Kansas State offensive linemen Carver Willis and Hadley Panzer were both dinged up in the victory last week and left the game. Willis returned, but Panzer was unable to come back to action.
We’ve heard updates this week from coaches Chris Klieman and Conor Riley. We share the latest hours before kickoff.

Another thing I had the privilege of doing this week (as part of the 3MAW Podcast on Kansas City Sports Network) was speaking to some of the Kansas State basketball coaches and players at Colbert Hills for the Fore the Players’ Cats Classic that is a golf outing designed to raise money for the WildcatNIL collective.
One player not named David Castillo generated some buzz.

Nobody expected it to be a major visit weekend in Manhattan. After all, the game is on a Friday and many of the recruits on the board will be playing their own games tonight. Surprise, it’s one of the better weekends of the season, actually.
